2014 Mo-99 Topical Meeting

The National Nuclear Security Administration’s (NNSA) Global Threat Reduction Initiative is pleased to announce that we intend to hold the 2014 Mo-99 Topical Meeting, the week of June 24-27, 2014, in Washington, D.C. in cooperation with Argonne National Laboratory.

The tentative schedule is as follows:

• June 24: Registration and evening reception
• June 25-27: Meeting sessions

This meeting will provide a venue for all entities and stakeholders involved in the production, distribution, and use of molybdenum-99 to present recent developments for the production of reliable supplies of this important medical isotope without the use of highly enriched uranium. Please save these dates on your calendar and Argonne National Laboratory will provide further information in the near future. You can also periodically check the ANL website for the latest information at: http://mo99.ne.anl.gov/
